The Carpenter’s Prayer

You know, Paul the Apostle had it easy. Just wander into a city, yell some theology in the marketplace, maybe get thrown in prison—boom, instant audience. Martin Luther just had to nail a list to a church door, and suddenly he’s the hottest name in town. Meanwhile, here I am, manually scraping public contact information, navigating lead generation tools like some desperate startup bro, all to ensure my words land in the inboxes of people who will, statistically speaking, either ignore them or mark them as spam.

But, as with all things, it’s the few that slip through that matter. If you’re here because you received one of my letters—welcome. Take a look around, read the archive, and if something resonates, pass it along to someone else who needs to hear it.

Because while the old revolutionaries had parchment and pulpits, we have email filters and social media algorithms. The struggle continues.

As a parting message, I offer a prayer from one creator to another:

The Carpenter’s Prayer

Creator,
Beyond all knowledge,
Awed by your works we stand.

True peace will come,
When our work is done,
As below it will be above.

May none this day hunger or need,
And show mercy for our failings,
as we show love to those who have none for us.

Let us not be tempted to hatred,
but guide us to confront evil,

Together, your kingdom
shall be built firm,
Sharing in love, forever.

Amen
